Oversized Breasts? 4 Effective Methods To Reduce Discomfort
1.
Weight Loss & Exercise We are routinely bombarded with the message that a proper diet and exercise can cure anything.
Especially on the Internet, a routine search will come up with stories and articles of people who claim to have lost weight & (fill in the blank: beat cancer, beat depression, improve self confidence, etc).
While daily exercise and a healthy balanced diet are recommended for any person at all stages of their life, our modern lives require tradeoffs that aren't ideal.
That said, a proper weight loss plan will definitely alleviate some of the strain caused by oversized breasts, especially for women who are overweight to begin with, and those whose breasts are lower density (higher fat tissue).
Most women will find that this will take many months, and require a focus and dedication to exercise that is hard to sustain.
Also this will at best reduce the weight and the associated pain, but for most women this won't be sufficient to completely get rid of it.
Also breasts that have shrunk due to weight loss will likely have stretch marks and look saggy and droop.
Finally many women have breasts that are big enough to significantly interfere with any strenuous exercise, and any effective exercise can cause an increase in pain and suffering.
2.
Hormonal Treatments Hormonal treatments are often promoted online and at many herbal or alternative medication stores.
While hormonal treatments are often prescribed by doctors to treat a variety of medical ailments, many women are hesitant to use them due to concerns regarding the side effects.
Many women now choose to use alternative treatments including herbal & ayurvedic substances as a more 'natural' way to achieve positive outcomes.
While this is becoming increasingly popular, many women are not researching the doses that these 'natural' remedies contain of the hormones they carry.
Many of these remedies carry dangerous levels of hormones that can significantly upset your body's balance, and because the ingredient list looks 'natural', often don't get noticed.
3.
Comfortable Clothing & Bra Many women try to 'live with it' and simply accept that they will have to deal with pain and discomfort due to their oversized breasts.
A good start, especially for women with only moderately oversized breasts, is to look at proper attire and bras.
The vast majority of women don't get fitted for bras, and tend to wear sizes that don't match their body type and size.
A bra fitting at a decent store catering to women can be a liberating experience.
The same applies to women who have undergone breast enhancement or augmentation surgery as well.
A properly fitting bra will provide the necessary support on the back and distribute the weight accordingly, and can over time may even eliminate pain.
Comfortable clothing is another topic that women with oversized breast can be embarrassed to talk about.
Properly fitting clothing that allows you to breathe while still being flattering to your figure is essential in our competitive world.
While these clothing & bra fitting steps will alleviate some of the discomfort, for most women these are not enough, especially when the breasts are mismatched in size, or when it becomes very expensive to buy properly fitting clothes and bras while still suffering pain.
4.
Breast Reduction Surgery If the 3 points above don't work for you, or if you aren't likely to benefit from these due to your body type, age, size, comfort level, or pain tolerance, breast reduction surgery (reduction mammoplasty) may be your only choice.
Breast reduction surgery involves removing fat from the breasts to make them smaller, firmer and lighter.
This type of surgery is done under general anesthesia and a typically healthy patient will recover within a few days and be able to go back to their daily lives after two weeks.
This of course varies depending on the overall health, age, weight, and stress of the patient.
Its recommended that patients take at least a few weeks off after the surgery to recover in comfort and peace, especially outside of their daily local environment where the familiar demands will continue to exist.
Like any surgery, breast reduction surgery does have its limitations.
Depending on the reduction in size needed, there may be permanent scarring, although modern techniques at specialized clinics can sometimes make this nearly invisible.
There can be complications after the surgery including swelling that is fairly common, but as with any surgery can lead to more dangerous complications.
