Basically, most of the information we have discussed is common sense and logic.
And the break down is not usually the knowledge but the action.
What do we mean? Well lest make a very basic example.
We all realize that if we wish to lose weight (as long as we are of good health) we need to eliminate junk foods from our diet.
We all KNOW that, then why though do so few people actually DO that? Simple - Lack of motivation Sometimes changing long standing habits, even when we realize such changes will be to our advantage just feels too hard, almost impossible! Here is where you get to sit still for 5 minutes and do nothing but think.
Why do you want to be healthy? Sometimes the threat of illness is just not enough of a motivation.
Think of the person you need to be alive and well for.
Who pops into your head? Your child? Your parent? Your husband? Now think about how your well being positively affects that loved one.
Now take a minute to think about how that loved one would be affected should something bad happen to you, There are so many things in life we do not get to control.
So many.
Why should we sacrifice the things we do have control over? That's just foolish.
You have control over what you put in your mouth.
You have control over when you go to bed.
You have control over your physical cleanliness.
And you control whether or not you will be on the move.
Your motivation needs to be strong for you to succeed in even the small suggestions we have made.
Remember too if you are a parent your example can likely determine whether or not your child will lead a healthy lifestyle.
As humans we tend to forget quickly.
Perhaps we can still recall valuable information but if it is not reviewed regularly it dulls and other things quickly take priority.
Why do you think advertising is one of the largest industries in the world? Because people act on what they see and think about most.

Take in information as much as you can.
That's why it is important to make a list of the changes you will be making.
Set goals as to when you want to implement these changes.
And most importantly write down your motivation for doing so.
