Proper Dress

• Wear proper fitting clothing when you go bungee jumping so articles of clothing stay in place. In other words, no bathing suits, even though some bungee jumping locations are around Texas waterways. Remember to remove jewelry. Avoid wearing contact lenses to reduce the risk of losing them or injuring your eyes.
  
  

Weather

• Avoid bungee jumping in wet or windy conditions as these can adversely affect your jump. Texas has rainy weather through the spring and is typically dry through the summers.
  
  

Equipment and Safety

• Make sure the harness is secure and the rope is attached to a sturdy structure. Don't be afraid to ask the staff if they are licensed to operate their business by the state and what their safety record is.
