Hair Thinning - A Plain Rationale to Trim it Down

It's a daily anguish for many to see their hair line receding further and further away from the spiky hair-do or the St-Francis-of-Assisi-caps being a little too obvious at the top of their heads! Even though women are spared from the agony of balding, it is just as upsetting to feel the thinning down of the beautiful braids; and knee-length coiffures cease to look stunning anymore.
Experts say it is normal to lose 100 strands of hair a day.
The truth of the matter is, on a daily basis, it is frustrating! Since the casualties seem to increase by the hour, just about everything tends to be the cause of hair-thinning.
Beliefs and myths even blame maternal grand-fathers for hair loss.
Apparently, hair loss is chiefly caused due to a variety of reasons including hereditary factors, stress, illness and medication, and poor diet.
Dandruff, oily hair, dry hair, white and grey hair, and split ends of hair may also count among the crusades.
Hair loss is commonly attributed to the ageing process, usually occurring after forty years for both men and women.
However, hair thinning has become a more serious problem among the younger folks in India, like anywhere else in the world.
A genuine reason: stress.
Unhealthy life-style also adds misery to the dilemma.
While immense stress triggers hormonal imbalance, pollution and irregular food intake cause serious deficiencies which eventually lead to more hair loss.
Use of chemicals in the form of hair color, and other such aesthetic treatments are other precipitating factors.
Consequently, being overly sensitive to coiffures can also cause its death.
Indeed there is a simpler way to readjust to your life style.
Like your mother always used to coax you into eating your meals, you could start with a diet rich in essential nutrients.
When you are healthy, your hair is healthy.
"Foods rich in iron give extra shine to your hair", my grandmother used to say.
To tackle the stress factor, it is simple! "Stop worrying too much"! Doing a little breathing exercise when you feel overwhelmed by stress at work or elsewhere will help you calm down.
Besides, controlling stress will lessen the effort in making a healthier you.
Trying out new hair styles and trendy coiffures look beautiful but do consider the harm it can do to your hair due to constant meddling.
Hence, give yourself a little care and stay healthy.
It is the best trend looking beautiful.
Adopt a sensible and flourishing life style; your hair tends to stay then.
