How to Make Birdseed Birdhouses
- 1). Prepare the work surface by covering it with newspaper. Pour birdseed into the bowl to make it easier grab and apply to the birdhouse. Place the birdhouse and bowl of birdseed on the work surface.
- 2). Start with the roof of the birdhouse. Using the spatula apply peanut butter to the entire roof of the birdhouse. Make sure to spread the peanut butter in a nice even layer to ensure uniform adhesion.
- 3). Take handfuls of birdseed and press firmly into the peanut butter. Coat the entire roof in birdseed. Tamp the birdseed lightly to make sure it is firmly stuck to the peanut butter.
- 4). Move on to the sides of the birdhouse after finishing the roof. Handle the birdhouse gently as you go from section to section. Remember to leave perch uncovered and do not put peanut butter or seed inside the birdhouse.
- 5). Place it in a safe place to dry once the entire birdhouse is covered with seed. After it dries, it is ready for the birds to enjoy.
