Lawn bowl is a sport which can be played one and all and which does not require special training of a particular kind. As a sport it requires practice and understanding about the speed and throw but does not require formal training of any kind. It is a sport whose history goes way back to Roman soldiers who used to toss stones at a particular stone target.
