Bio:

Frank Quietly has become widely known for his very stylistic comic book art. It is very easy to spot a Frank Quietly piece and he has quickly gained popularity as an artist.
Frank started out in the UK comics scene, doing work for the company 2000 AD and others on such projects as ?The Greens,? and stories for, ?Judge Dredd Magazine.? He later started to work for DC Comics and finally landed his first big project, ?The Authority,? with writer Mark Millar.

Quietly left ?The Authority? to work with longtime collaborator Grant Morrison on ?The New X-Men,? changing their costumes and appearances, which was a controversial move by many of the X-Men fans. Despite setbacks in the release of the comics due to the widely known slow pace of Quietly?s work, the comic still sold incredibly well.

Quietly continues to collaborate with Morrison with such projects as the critically acclaimed series We3 and their latest project, part of the All-Star line for DC Comics, ?All-Star Superman.?

Regardless of whom Quietly works with, one can be sure that he will continue to be on the top list of comic book artists for some time to come.
