Hair Loss Testimonials - Can a Hair Loss Testimonial Be Trusted?

103 9
Let's face it, we live in a world where not everyone or everything can be trusted.
When it comes to checking out hair loss testimonials before you actually buy a product, can they be trusted as a legitimate source of credible information?  This article gives you some tips on how to tell which hair loss testimonials are real and fake.
When it comes to evaluating the truthfulness of a hair loss testimonial, it can be pretty tricky.
Now obviously, companies like to collect testimonials because it adds credibility to their product.
If someone else says that they have had success with a certain treatment, it's more likely that a person will also try it.
I tend to get a little weary when reading hair loss testimonials that are typed out and pasted on a website as oppose to ones that have been recorded in audio and video.
The way I see it is the company that sells a product can easily just type up a bogus review of their product to make it sound better.
But it's much harder to fake a customer review that's recorded using video.
Plus, you can actually see who the person is and how their hair looks after using the product for a while.
What I have noticed is that after i really began to educate myself about hair-loss and hair regrowth, I stopped paying attention to hair loss testimonials and put more focus on reading the explanation of why the product is so effective.
For example, I knew that the main cause of hair-loss and balding was a high sensitivity to DHT, which is an androgen that attaches to your follicles and shrinks them, causing them to fall out of your scalp.
I guess that I just began to evaluate products and treatments based on the scientific and medical facts they used to back up what they were offering.
I also searched for information from outside medical sources like the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the American Hair Loss Association (AHLA).
These are respectable entities consisting of experts in the field, so their knowledge is definitely helpful.
Some food for thought: Instead of relying on hair loss testimonials and reviews, try evaluating a product based on the actual product and it's design.
I know it's comforting knowing that someone else has had success with a certain treatment, but it's important to understand that everyone scalp is different and someone that doesn't work for someone may work for you, and vise-versa.
