Cascading Curls

• For a formal evening party, a loose, cascading head of curls is an appropriate choice. This hairstyle works for hair that is past shoulder length. Spray your head with a curl boosting spray, and working in 2-inch sections, roll 1-inch hot rollers into your hair starting at the tip and working up to the scalp. Secure in place using pins and leave the rollers in until they are cool. Gently remove the rollers and loosen the curlers with your fingertips before spraying with a coat of hair spray to hold in place.
  
  

Pin Curl Twist

• If you are looking to wear your hair up for the party, a simple pin curl twist style works for medium-length hair. Separate the front section of your hair with a comb and brush through it to remove any knots or tangles. Pull the hair back and secure in place with bobby pins. This will leave a section of hair above each ear. Run your fingers along the hair above each ear and separate these section by giving them a firm twist. Pull these sections to the back of your head and secure with bobby pins. Continue this process until all of your hair has been twisted back and held in place with pins. Curled Bun

• If you are running short on time and need a quick hairstyle, this one takes only five minutes to complete. Pull your hair back into a low pony tail towards the nape of your neck, and fold the hair over to create a loose bun. Pull the tips of the hair out from underneath the hair tie, and curl them using a curling iron. If you have long hair, use bobby pins to secure any loose strands of hair.
