How to Use the Samsung P2 Bluetooth
- 1). Install the Samsung “Media Studio” software onto your computer. This is done by inserting the software CD that came with your P2 into the CD-ROM drive of your computer. If you no longer have the software CD, you can download and install the Media Studio software by visiting the Samsung website.
- 2). Power on your cell phone and Samsung P2.
- 3). Use the USB cable that came with your Samsung P2 device to connect the device to your computer. To do this, plug one end of the USB cable into the Samsung P2. Plug the other end into the USB port of your computer. When properly connected, the Media Studio software will automatically launch on your computer. If the software does not automatically start, you can manually start it by clicking the Media Studio icon located on your computer's desktop.
- 4). Click on the “Menu” option of the Media Studio software. Select “Portable Device.” Click “Update Firmware.” This will ensure that your Samsung P2 is using the latest firmware that is needed for the Bluetooth to run properly.
- 5). Disconnect the Samsung P2 from your computer by removing the USB cable.
- 6). Select the “Bluetooth” application from the menu applications of your cell phone. Select the option to make your Bluetooth discoverable. Depending upon your cell phone model, the exact method to do this will vary. Refer to your cell phone user manual for instructions.
- 7). Touch the “Bluetooth” application from the main screen of your Samsung P2. Select “Blue Tooth Mode.” Wait for the Samsung P2 to discover your cell phone device. You can also choose the “Stereo Headset” option to use your Bluetooth as a headset for your P2. To change the Bluetooth settings, simply select “Bluetooth Settings” from the Bluetooth menu.
