Having Trouble With Closet Clutter?

Most people can say at some point in their lives they have had trouble dealing with closet clutter.
Whether it is a closet for clothes, brooms, or food, every closet has the potential to accumulate clutter.
Contemplating the answers to these questions could help prevent closet clutter all together.
What's better? Having lots of stuff you know you have or don't know you have If your closet is so messy or jamb packed with stuff that you don't even know what you have, then it is time to clean it out.
What good is it to have stuff stored behind a ton of other stuff and forget you have it? This situation either leads to the forgotten stuff getting ruined over time or, worse yet, you buying that same item again and wasting money.
What's better? Having stuff you can actually use or not use A single man living along does not need thirty hamburger patties in his freezer at any given time.
You may have saved money per patty by buying in bulk, but if you end up throwing half of it out due to freezer burn, the cost savings is lost.
Concentrate on what you can actually use or afford to store for a reasonable amount of time.
What's better? Buying stuff you can just say you have or buying stuff that has a use What is the point of bragging that you have twenty pairs of black leather pumps, if you can only find seven of them? Unless you have a walk in closet the size of an ice rink, possessing that many shoes is a bit of an over kill because you can't see them all.
If you can't see them all, then you won't wear all of them.
When you finally find a long lost pair someday under all the closet clutter, they will probably be crushed or scuffed anyways.
Don't buy for status.
Buy for use.
