Test At A Store

This is positively worth doing. But this can be of limited value.

Most store staff are exceedingly helpful and will let you take the strollers for test runs inside the store. Take the stroller for a walk around the store. This walk will let you know how manoeuvrable the stroller is. Will the stroller fit between the isles in the store? Fold the stroller and unfold it. How hard is the stroller to fold? How weighty is the stroller? Is the stroller too weighty to lift? Can the seat be without problems removed?

Warranty

This item is tremendously crucial to check. Better quality strollers have longer warranties. Manufacturers do not expect the stroller to break during the warranty period. The longer the warranty, the better. The warranty will ensure that if the stroller does break, the manufacturer will cover the costs of the breakage. There are exceptions to most warranties - ask about these. Check what is not covered by the warranty. It is normal for damage due to usual usage to be covered. Theft and some types of other damage might not be covered.

Renting Strollers

This is better than testing a stroller in a store. This option works best if you do not already own a stroller. You can try out different strollers and find the advantages and disadvantages for each 1. If you do not like a stroller, you can change it. only do this short term as it can get expensive and you would be better off spending the money on a new stroller. Renting a pushchair long term can be expensive.
