In order for a Christian to live a fulfilled and prosperous life, he has to apply the principle of tithe and offering. Whatever you get, ten percent belongs to God. God demands that you take your tithes to his house. This is the house of God that feeds you spiritually. Money intended for tithing should not be put to any other use or be involved in any philanthropic acts. Obeying God is important for you to receive the promises of a tither.

Offerings should also be given according to the way the spirit of God leads you. This part of giving is very critical for God does not only look at the gift itself but your character too as you give. Are you giving just because it is a must for you to put something in the offering basket as it passes by you? Are you giving sacrificially for God to move in your situation? Are you giving to praise and worship God for what he has done for you? In all this, are you giving cheerfully?

Whether you are giving the tithe or offering, God will first judge the condition of your heart before he even looks at the gift. If it is right expect him to move mightily in your life. He will move you to the next level and provide for all of your needs. In God's kingdom, you have to always so a seed in order to get where God has promised you. God will always place a seed in your hands for wherever he is taking you.
