What do you do? Just run a fast search on your search engine of choice and see if that number comes up.

And why not try it? After all, it's free and it's probably the only free option out there.
Your best chance of success is if it's a business number, because in that instance it most likely will be listed on the companies' website.

TIP #3) Use a "cell phone" directory Landline directories are great for one thing-landline numbers.
They don't work with mobile phones.
People make this mistake all the time-they jump from one free regular phone directory to another, thinking they will find the info they want.
There's a reason cell numbers aren't listed in free directories...
They aren't free.
When you open the white pages do you see any mobile phones listed? Didn't think so.
The reason is simple-the mobile companies who have this info will not give out their customer information unless you pay them a lot of money.

Fortunately there are online landline directories that have gone out and paid the companies for access to their databases.
They will usually allow you to do a search of their database for a small fee.
