How to Remove Hose Clamps
- 1). Turn the screw on the side of the hose clamp with a flat head screwdriver. Do this by placing the flat end of the screwdriver into the slot on the clamp screw. Turn your screwdriver counter clockwise.
- 2). Unscrew the clamp completely. Push the loose clamp to the center of the hose. Unscrew the clamp on the opposite end.
- 3). Gently remove the hose and the clamps.
- 1). Identify wire hose clamps by noticing there is no slot on the clamp. Instead there will be two small tabs.
- 2). Use a pair of pliers to squeeze the tabs together. Do this several times if you need to get the two ends together.
- 3). Slide the clamp off the hose gently.
