    • 1). File Form I-90, Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card, online. The link to the E-File website is listed in Resources. Once you create an account, you will be able to e-file your form. You must pay the $370 filing fee online (as of 2010) with a credit or debit card, or by an electronic funds transfer from your bank.

    • 2). Mail a copy of your Permanent Resident Card to:

      National Benefits Center
      Attn: E-Filed I-90 Application
      P.O. Box 648012
      Lee's Summit, MO 64002.

    • 3). Attend your Biometrics appointment. You will receive a notice in the mail detailing when and where to have your fingerprints and photo taken. Be sure to take your appointment notice and photo identification with you to the appointment.

    • 4). Receive your new permanent resident card. You will receive a new card in the mail that is valid for the next 10 years.
