    • 1). View the official National Pokedex at Pokemon.com. It contains up to 493 Pokemon characters and their information.

    • 2). Place your mouse pointer over the picture of the Pokemon character and right click to bring up a menu. Select "Print" from the menu to print out the Pokemon character. Print out all of the Pokemon characters you wish to add to your homemade Pokedex.

    • 3). Cut out each of your printed Pokemon characters with the scissors.

    • 4). Rub a glue stick around on the back of one Pokemon character and then place it onto an index card to one side. Smooth out the image so there are no wrinkles or bubbles visible. Glue all of your other Pokemon cutouts to individual index cards one at a time. Allow them to dry fully.

    • 5). Write down the information next to each Pokemon on their cards with a pen. You can use the information from the Pokemon website to specify the Pokemon type, abilities, weaknesses and gender. Height, weight and species is also specified in the Pokedex. Write each Pokemon's number in one of the top corners of the card. Each Pokemon has a specific number according to when they first appeared in the Pokemon game series.

    • 6). Place all of your Pokemon cards into a file box according to numerical order of the Pokemon. Decorate the outside of your Pokedex box to customize it if you desire.
