  • Type "msconfig" into the box

  • When MSConfig loads, click on the "Startup" tab
  • Remove any programs you don't want
4) Use ReadyBoost ReadyBoost basically allows your computer to use a "flash drive" as a place to store virtual memory.
It's one of the hidden gems of Windows, as it can allow your system to load up the various important options which it requires to to help it run quicker.
Here's what to do:
  • Insert a reliable USB memory stick into your PC
  • Right click computer, than click properties
  • Go to the advanced tab, click settings for performance,
  • Go to the advanced tab in the performance options window, than click change in the virtual memory section,
  • In the drive selection, select your flash drive, click custom size, and set as much as you like.
5) Clean Out The Registry

  • Restart your system
