How to Buy a Colts Football to Help the Make a Wish Foundation
- 1). Visit the Make-A-Wish Foundation at www.wish.org. Click on "Ways to Help" on the navigation bar across the top. Then click on "Shop to Help."
- 2). Click on "The Make-A-Wish Product Marketplace." At the marketplace site, type "football" or "Colts football" in the search box. If there are items for sale matching your description, they'll be displayed. If there are not, move to the next step.
- 3). Return to the "Shop to Help" page. Click on "eBay Community Sellers." When you buy an item from one of the eBay sellers affiliated with Make-A-Wish, the seller will donate at least 10% of the proceeds to the foundation. Enter "football" or "Colts football" into the box under "Shop now to support our cause." If a Make-A-Wish-affiliated seller has an item available, it will be displayed.
- 4). Choose your football, if there are some available. Sports memorabilia sellers on eBay offer toy, foam, replica and official NFL footballs. Some are autographed.
- 5). Consider making a bigger donation to the foundation. You can do this by picking either a more expensive item or an item with a greater percentage pledged to Make-A-Wish.
