Rental Cars

• The Cancun International Airport is home to more than 20 rental car companies. Some of these rental car facilities are located onsite while others will send their own shuttle to pick you up outside of your terminal and drive you to the rental car lot, which is no more than a mile or two from the airport. Well known rental car agencies, such as Hertz, Avis and Alamo all have rental car locations at the Cancun International Airport.
  
  

Parking

• For residents of Mexico, the Cancun International Airport has a parking lot that caters to both short and long term parking. The parking lot is directly next to the entrance of Cancun International Airport and costs $24 pesos per hour up to six hours. Anything after six hours is considered one day and the cost goes up to $150 pesos per day.
  
  

Bus

• Bus service is available from Cancun International Airport to the Downtown Bus stops in both Cancun and Playa Del Carmen. The bus from Cancun International Airport to Downtown Cancun leaves hourly beginning at 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. The Playa Del Carmen buses leave at different times throughout the day; a schedule can be obtained on Cancun International Airport's website.
  
  

Hotel Shuttles

• Some hotels in and around Cancun offer their own shuttle buses to passengers arriving and departing the Cancun International Airport. Shuttles to particular hotels can be determined by contacting the hotel where you are staying and inquiring about their hotel shuttle service. These shuttles meet passengers at designated times outside terminals around the airport.
  
  

Limousines

• Limos and town cars are available to pick up passengers arriving and departing the Cancun International Airport. The airport's website has a list of approved limo and town car providers. Booking your limo or town car prior to your arrival at Cancun's International Airport is less expensive than waiting to book one upon arrival. Pre-booking also eliminates having to wait to find an available limo service to pick you up once you've arrived.
