- Homemade cookies are a staple of almost any Christmas celebration. Cookies are made and given out as gifts, used for pot luck lunches at work or shared at cookie exchanges. Different types of Christmas cookies include gingerbread men, sugar cookies, snicker doodles, oatmeal and thumbprint.
- Christmas candy is an important part of the season’s gift giving tradition. Christmas-themed candies are used a stocking-stuffers, gifts and set out in the house for guests to snack on. Different holiday candies include rock candy, toffee, chocolate bark candy, ribbon candy, candy canes, sugar gum drops, truffles and peppermint bark. Christmas candy can either be store bought or homemade.
- Set up a dessert table that includes a variety of different desserts. Traditional Christmas desserts include cakes, pies, pudding, Yule logs and mousse.
