Does Science Suggest Creation or Evolution?

Most people who have ever lived have believed that the universe and all life on earth were created by God. It was only until recent history that a minority of people began to believe that God does not exist and that life and the universe are the result of a nearly impossible stroke of luck.

But do the facts support that? To answer the question we need to first understand that science is defined as facts that have been proven to be correct. That means for a claim to be scientifically accurate, it has to be proven. Right away we have a problem. You see, those who say that humans evolved from apes and that this system has been going on for millions of years, did not live on earth all of those years ago.

Furthermore, the ones that claim that the universe has been around for millions or billions of years and that the theory of evolution is fact, lack any evidence of one life form evolving into another. Yes, we observe changes within species (all dogs came from the wolf), but an increase in the genetic information for an organism has never been observed in any way.

When you research the truly observable evidence that we have at our fingertips today with an open mind and being unbiased and honest, you will probably see that not only is evolution not strongly supported by the evidence that we have available, it is based on a huge number of assumptions. You shall find that whether legitimate science supports evolution or creation depends solely on your worldview. Your worldview is your belief of how the universe including all living creatures came into existence.

As Christians, we believe the information in Genesis, and the rest of the Holy Scriptures and we believe that the facts strongly support it. Those who believe in the theory of evolution believe that they are the output of an incredibly improbable stroke of luck that caused lifeless matter to become alive. And this creates yet another issue for evolutionists. Among the ones who believe in the theory, not one have ever been able to take dead organisms and generate living matter.

As followers of Christ, we strongly believe that is because only God can produce life. We also believe that God made the heavens and the earth and as a loving and good God, He provided for us freedom because robots can't love. We used that free will to sin and go against His will.

As a perfectly just God, that disobedience had to be punished. That just penalty is death (physical and spiritual) and it is everlasting. And we believe that because God so loved us, he came to earth fully man and fully God to legally pay our debt for us! And that all who trust Jesus Christ (all that He stands for and is, in His very being) into their heart will be saved from the righteous judgement of our righteous God!
