Online Business Opportunities, How do I find the best?
To an average Joe coming off his day to day job looking to the internet as an alternative can be a daunting task. 99.9% of the people that do end up in one of two categories:
1. They get scammed and give up.
2. They get overwhelmed and give up.
Believe me, I know this first hand. I'm not a web designer, or a marketer, just your average Joe. I would like to share some of my experiences in hopes that it might help you.
So we have identified the roadblocks, how do we get past them? Start with scams, they are definitely everywhere, not just on the internet, there on the phone, the auto mechanic, EVERYWHERE! So how do we avoid being scammed? It starts with trust, you need to trust the group/individual you are teaming with. I think to the last time I got scammed, it was a mechanic. Sad part is, when I dropped off my vehicle I didn't feel that trust but left it there anyway. How do you gain trust for someone or something you have no background with? Research is the key, dig into it, with the tools available these days you can find out a lot about a business you are considering. Doing research is more than doing a google search and when you see scam run the other way. Dig into what is being said, fact is one group will post scam about a competitor just to give themselves a leg up (atleast in there mind). Do diligent research.
As for becoming overwhelmed, it is part of the process. Every rose has its thorns, this part is harder to give sound advice on. But I think to what I was told when I was getting overwhelmed during my "Launch". I was told "a rocket uses 90% of its fuel at takeoff." The first time I heard that, I thought the same as you "BS". But if you truly think about it, if you don't have some level of frustration, or being overwhelmed, then you are not challenging yourself. It is human nature to resist change, and the things you will do to become a successful online entrepreneur are different than when you clock in each morning at your job. The truth is, we feel safer with our job, the routine, etc. To break out from that safe zone is a difficult choice. But you made a choice to look into the possibility of creating a online business opportunity, so a good way to follow through is to set a goal from the start. When you decided to look, why did you? Financial security, additional income, to allow you and your wife to be stay at home income makers, whatever the reason, there was a reason. With a goal in your mind, you will have something tangible to hold on to when you become overwhelmed. I was fortunate that I found a opportunity where I have people to fall back on while I learned the ropes. Having that asset has been one of the main reasons I was able to create success.
Thank You for your time.
