Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu movie is directed by Shakun Batra, and it is an official remake of Hollywood movie ‘What Happens in Vegas'. The filmmakers planned very intelligently to shoot the movie according to the India circumstances.

This film is about two characters Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor. Imran khan acting as Rahul is an Architect in Vegas but suddenly loses his job and he hide the truth from his parents, tired of his life, Kareena Kapoor acting as Raina is a hair stylist and complete opposite to Rahul. One day Rahul meets Raina, they get drunk and spend the whole night together roaming on the streets, share things laugh, argue each other. And the next day they come to know that in high spirits they were connected to each other and decide to break the relationship. The next 14 days of their life changes for ever.

People think that the film is a routine story like other bollywood films, but the film is completely different and heart touching movie. Director Shakun Batra has done a great job; his skills are amazing which reflects on the screen. His has proved as assistant director in the past with – "Rock On" and "Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na" (2008).

The film scoring was done by Amit Trivedi, his music makes you comfort and you will definitely enjoy. Songs are really good, especially the foot tapping moments in the title and ‘Aunty Ji' songs.

Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu movie, on the first day made US$ 1.16 million and the major contribution was from Mumbai, Delhi, Punjab and Mysore. It has done a good job at the box office.  It also made good openings in UK with 53 screens collecting £ 2,42,177 and US 111 screens collecting $6,37,100.
