Focusing on the profitable growth is theirs main agenda nowadays and according to the recent survey, the biggest challenge to achieve sustained profitable growth in a business is related to people. Some managers have myth that profit is another form of a victory and considers both good and bad growth, beneficial for profits. Basically both of the growth builds revenue but here they need to understand that good growth brings revenue with improved profits over time. However, bad growth lowers the shareholder values.

For profitable growth in business, you need to diagnose some questions such as what is the total percentage of time and efforts does your team gives to generate revenue growth? Or do they just talk about the growth strategies or is there actually follows through it? Or does management team contact with end users? Or would you characterize your business unit cultures as growth oriented? Or does the company practice revenue productivity? Etc.
