How to Clean & Wax Floors
- 1). Vacuum the floor thoroughly.
- 2). Fill a bucket with hot water. Add several drops of liquid dish soap.
- 3). Dip your mop into the bucket. Wring out the mop so that it is not dripping wet. Mop the surface of the floor.
- 4). Empty the bucket and rinse out the mop. Fill the bucket with hot water.
- 5). Mop the floor again, this time with just water.
- 6). Empty the bucket, and rinse the mop. Pour in undiluted ammonia.
- 7). Spread the ammonia on a section of the floor with the mop. Allow the ammonia to sit for a few minutes. Scrub the section of floor with a scrub brush. Repeat until the entire floor has been scrubbed.
- 8). Empty the bucket, and rinse the mop. Fill the bucket with hot water. If desired, add a small amount of distilled white vinegar to the water
- 9). Mop the floor again to rinse the ammonia off.

Dry the floor with towels. - 11
Apply the linoleum wax to the floor, and allow it to air dry. Add a second coat. - 12
Buff with a soft, clean cloth if necessary. - 1). Vacuum the floor to remove any dust and debris.
- 2). Combine 1 cup of white distilled vinegar and 1 gallon of water in a bucket.
- 3). Dip your mop into the vinegar solution. Wring it well so that it is only damp. Mop small sections at a time, drying with a towel after each section is mopped.
- 4). Buff with a soft clean cloth.
- 5). Apply the wood floor cleaner and then the liquid floor wax. Allow the wax to dry.
- 6). Buff again with a soft, clean cloth.
