- 2). Double-click the Windows Media Player application to open and run the program.
- 3). Click the "Rip" tab and CD information, such as track names and listing will appear (only if you are connected to the Internet). The audio CD in your drive will begin to rip. The copied contents will be saved in the Windows Media Player library.
- 4). Eject the audio CD from your computer's CD drive after the ripping process is finished. Keep the Windows Media Player open.
- 5). Insert a blank CD-R/CD-RW disk into your computer's CD burning drive. Open the Windows Media Player folder that has the ripped audio CD in it.
- 6). Select the ripped music files that you plan to burn to make a Windows Media play list. Click "Library," then click "Add to Library." You can click "Add Folder" or "Add File" to load the ripped CD.
- 7). Click "Now Playing," then click "Burn." Afterwards, click "All Music." Select the music files that you are going to burn by inserting a check mark by them.
- 8). Choose the CD-R/CD-RW disk in your burning drive in the drop-down menu, which is located in the right-side of the program window. Make sure that you do not go past the 80 minute CD storage capacity. Click "Start Burn" to transfer and burn the ripped CD to the blank CD-R/CD-RW in your burning drive. Eject the CD-R/CD-RW from your computer after the process is over.
