How to Set Up a Trex 450Se
- 1). The Trex 450SE kit should include three labeled plastic bags containing parts, plus the engine and motor. In the first bag, you will find the pieces for the motor system. Remove the motor housing, which is the largest piece, and insert it into the flybar seesaw holder. Screw together using the included tools in the hardware kit. Dip each screw in quick dry glue before screwing for ultimate securing.
- 2). Attach to the rotor kit in the second bag, which comes pre-assembled. Slide the rotors into the notches and screw in place, dipping each screw in glue as you did in Step 1. Slide the rotor and motor piece into the body of the Trex 450SE. Tighten by aligning the piece with the screw holes in the helicopter body and screw securely. Allow to dry.
- 3). Add sticker decals to the outside of the helicopter body if you wish to customize your RC helicopter's appearance. Decals are included and are designed to be placed on the side and front of the Trex 450SE, as well as on its tail.
- 4). Insert four standard AA-sized alkaline batteries into the remote control, and two into the underside of the helicopter. Close the battery compartment and press the "ON" switch on the remote control.
- 5). Push the throttle forward on the remote control to begin spinning the Trex 450SE's rotors so you can start flying it. Continuing to push the throttle forward raises the helicopter off of the ground, while pulling the throttle backwards slows the rotor so the helicopter can land. Moving the directional stick to the left or right tilts the helicopter, letting you turn the device in flight.
