How to Clean Hardwood Furniture
- 1). Wipe the furniture with a soft cloth to remove dust and other surface debris.
- 2). Fill a container with equal parts white vinegar and olive oil. Mix together with a spoon. Dampen a clean, soft cloth in the mixture.
- 3). Begin at the bottom of the furniture and wipe with the damp cloth while moving upward. Dip the cloth in the mixture when it becomes dry and continue wiping until you have cleaned the hardwood furniture.
- 4). Buff the wood furniture with a clean, soft cloth.
- 1). Bring a pot filled with 1 quart water and three to four tea bags to a boil on your stove. Remove from heat and allow the water to cool. While the water is cooling, wipe the furniture with a soft cloth to remove dust and other surface debris.
- 2). Saturate a clean cloth in the tea and wring out the excess liquid. Wipe the hardwood furniture with the cloth. Start at the bottom of the furniture and work your way up.
- 3). Buff the wood furniture dry with a clean, soft cloth.

- 2). Fill a small container with beer that has gone flat. Dip a clean cloth in the beer and wring out the excess liquid.
- 3). Wipe the hardwood furniture with the damp cloth and buff dry with a lint-free cloth.
