How to Make a Cyborg Costume
- 1). Select the clothing that you want to modify.
- 2). Tear a few holes in the clothing.
- 3). Cut pieces of flesh-colored felt slightly larger than the holes. Cut smaller holes within these pieces.
- 4). Sew the felt into the inside of the costume, covering the holes so it looks like skin with holes in it.
- 5). Sew silver fabric onto the back of the felt to create the illusion of metal showing through the holes in the skin.
- 6). Glue small pieces of tinfoil to your face using Spirit Gum.
- 7). Brush a ring of liquid latex around the edges of the tinfoil.
- 8). Press thin strips of tissue paper into the latex. Brush another layer on top to encapsulate it.
- 9). Allow the latex to dry.
- 10
Peel the inner edges of the tissue and latex away from the tinfoil. This will create the impression of torn skin with metal underneath.
