Airport Operated Parking

• There are four lots operated by Raleigh-Durham International Airport. Daily and hourly parking garages are directly between the terminals. As of 2010, daily parking costs $2 an hour and $10 for a full day. Hourly parking costs $1 an hour and $24 daily. Park and Ride 3 is near Interstate 40, while Park and Ride 4 is nearer to Highway 70. Both are open year-round and cost $6 daily. Shuttle service is included.
  
  

Private Company Operated Parking

• Private companies now offer their own park-and-ride services. Fast Park and Relax is directly off of exit 4a of Interstate 540. The lot offers covered parking and 24 hour service. Shuttles run constantly between the terminals and the lots. A complimentary car wash, bottled water and newspapers are included in the $3.64 a day rate. Preflight Airport Parking also sits off exit 4 on Lumely Road. Covered and uncovered parking is on-site. Daily rates are $9.95 covered and $8.50 uncovered. Car Wash and automotive services such as oil change are offered for an additional fee. Shuttles pick up travelers within five minutes of parking.
  
  

Holiday Parking

• During heavy traffic seasonal time periods, two other park-and-ride lots operated by Raleigh Durham International are opened near Highway 70. Check with the airport ahead of time to see if the lots are open during your travel time. Preflight Airport Parking recommends reservations during holidays to ensure a space.
