How to Get a Stain Off Concrete
- 1). Pour one-cup chemical paint stripper into an old bucket. Sprinkle in 1/8-cup baking soda. Stir the paint stripper with a wooden paint stick. Add more baking soda if needed to form a thick paste.
- 2). Pour the paint stripper substance over the paint stain on the concrete. Allow the chemical stripper to remain on the concrete, according to the instructions on the paint stripper container.
- 3). Scrape the paint stripper from the concrete with a plastic scraper. Toss the removed paint stripper into a garbage bag.
- 4). Rinse the remaining paint stripper solution from the concrete floor with a garden hose.
- 1). Add one ounce of trisodium phosphate to one-cup of water inside a clean bucket. Add 3/4-cup of baking soda to the bucket and stir to create a paste.
- 2). Apply the cleaning solution to the oil stain by pouring over the concrete. Allow the solution to remain on the stain until it becomes dry.
- 3). Remove half of the cleaning solution from the concrete with a putty knife and dispose of it into a trash bag. Add one-cup of water to the remaining solution on the concrete floor.
- 4). Scrub the solution into the concrete with a nylon brush. Rinse the area clean with a garden hose.
