Feng Shui"s Pi Yao, A sharer of wealth and prosperity!
The Pi Yao is a gatherer of wealth and riches. It is a protector and the best mystical creature for protecting your own wealth. It has no anus. Wow! Can you imagine? I wonder what that must feel like to consume gold, pearls, gems of all kinds and never being able to go to the bathroom? Actually, the Pi Yao, is a sharer of wealth especially with it's master, the one who owns it's mystical presence. As it gathers more and more riches, it grows bigger and bigger, only releasing it's treasures when it's master needs it. What a lucky person that is!
The Pi Yao is what we call an innocent. When provoked to defend itself, it's power is not to be tampered with. So, don't mess about with or take another persons Pi Yao. You'll only bring a curse upon yourself when in possession of a Pi Yao that doesn't belong to you. Besides you know better than to steal!
With a single horn on the top of their head, a pair eagle's wings with which to fly, the body of a lion and the head of dragon, the pi yao really does look like a Chinese version of the Griffin. Noble and pure! In fact, the Pi Yao's Western equivalent is the Griffin.
They graze on the riches of the Earth like a cow does on grass in a pasture. They are very generous with their treasures, but only with their master. They also, protect their master while traveling on wild adventures or at home tucked soundly in their bed. They will protect you against the Grand Duke Tai Sui's wrath and allow for good fortune when their master is in confrontation with the Duke. Pi Yaos will protect against robbery. They are an all around protector of good.
Take one along with you all the time by wearing a Pi Yao talisman or pendant. You can have up to nine Pi Yao in most rooms of your home. Some exceptions are:
Your bedroom, because their appetite for wealth is so great you shouldn't tempt them. They can cause all kinds of problems and bad dreams, too.
A bathroom, laundry room or kitchen, again because their hunger for treasure will urge them down drains and sewers, which can cause them a tummy ache and even food poisoning.
Always place them above eye level of the tallest person in the house and never on the floor, because they will try and take over if they can. You must always show them you are the boss, but with love and respect. The floor is no place for a mystical creature.
Place them in the living room, family room, dinning room, study, office or place of business,. Keep one on your desk, as long as it isn't in your bedroom, kitchen or laundry room. Nine is the most you can have in any room. If you adopted more than nine in all the rooms of your house that they're allowed, place the extra ones in a special box, tape it up and place it in your attic or a closet or give them to close friends or family members. Never sell one.
Pi Yaos are the most adored mystical magical creature in all of China. You should have at least one, too.
