But wait, wouldn't you be better off with a camera like the Olympus SP 800 UZ that actually costs less? Not if you can really use the high-speed photography abilities of this camera.
The speed at which this Casio Exislim digital camera operates makes even professional sports photography cameras like the EOS-1D Mark IV feel somewhat slow.
The Ex-F25 has astonishing capabilities of course; but it is squarely aimed at the amateur.
The image quality captured in some of the fastest capture modes are really nothing you could publish in the magazine.
For the amateur, there are so many features to this camera that you couldn't do without.
You can zoom while you're capturing video - at a high 720p (even if you'll have to forget the sound when you do that).
The flash is particularly good - in very dark shots with lots of people, you'll find that the flash can really light everything up in a quickly.
But you do need to know when to use the flash.
Sometimes, you can get washed out pictures because the flash can be too powerful for some situations.
To get pictures of your children playing sports, there is no better cameras than this.
