Doesn"t Flax Seed Scrap the Walls of the Intestines Much the Way Psyllium Does?

I have got this question about flax seed, she is confused about the dosage.
Is it 6tbsp per day? Is this something you have to work up to, or can she start a 6 myself? Also, she is wondering if there is such a thing as "too much" flax in one day? The flax, what exactly does it do beside regulate ones self? She does have a coffee grinder, she bought one a few weeks ago to grind seeds with, but she stopped because she wasn't sure if she was doing the right thing (she is never sure if she is doing the right thing)! Another question: doesn't flax scrap the walls of the intestines much the way psyllium does? Also, flax contains essential fats and some other stuff.
To answer questions, this is why it is important in the purge to use psyllium husk and seed.
The seed is whole and causes more scraping than the husk.
Together they do a very thorough job.
The flax seed must be taken (in its raw state) freshly ground to gain all the nutrient value.
In this state you get all the nutrients and yes, some help with the bowel, but not the same as the psyllium mix.
Flax has oil and vitamins - wonderful for the body.
Psyllium does not.
Psyllium is only used for its fiber content.
It is a good intestinal cleanser and stool softener.
It will become mucousy and in a sort of jell state once it hits the digestive tract, colon.
