There are no rules that are set in stone when it comes to second chance dating with a cheating husband.
There are plenty of people who will tell you not to do it.
They believe that once a man cheats, he'll always cheat.
The good news is that statistics don't show that logic to be true.
In fact, many instances show that cheaters are often not repeat offenders.
Of course, if you're the woman he cheated on, once was one time too many.
How do you go about dating the husband that cheated on you and broke your heart? You start by taking small steps and not getting in too deep to fast?
  1. Take things slowly.
Go one date at a time and be prepared to back out if things get too intense for your comfort or if you believe that you just can't get your marriage back on track.
That being said, try to relax and focus on the moment and what lies ahead instead of all the things that have happened before.
Take this opportunity for a second chance for what it is and really start over.
Make this your first date and see where the road takes you both from here.
  2. Turn off your inner critic.
Test it out for an evening.
Only say positive things about the location, the food, the wait staff, and the wine.
Avoid being critical at all costs and see how much it impresses your husband.
Doing this might shock and amaze your husband but it will do more than you realize to make him happy and have him see you in a different
  3. Flirt.
    Have fun.
    Eat dessert.
This is a time when you should just enjoy being in the moment and not worry about happily ever after, kids, bills, divorce court, other women, or any other problems you have had in the past.
This is about a new beginning and to be that it has to be a mental and emotional beginning from you.
  4. Keep your wits about you.
This is not the time to become intoxicated in any way.
You want to be sober so that you are completely aware of anything that happens, might happen, or you believe should happen.
This way you can prevent yourself from doing something you'd rather not do or at least not do at this point in your second chance romance with your cheating ex husband.
