Corporate travel management loves your all-inclusive family vacations

Do you work for a large company such as Wal-Mart or IBM? Corporate travel management programs may be encouraging families to spend more time together on all-inclusive family vacations. Now might be the time to book a trip for one of the destination events you have been discussing for years.

Why would corporate travel management be interested in the all-inclusive family vacations thousands of employees plan each year? Its not a secret that most corporate travel management companies benefit as much from these destination events as families do themselves. Many times, companies have exclusive contracts with certain providers (all of which may be under an umbrella Travel Corporation). In exchange for a cooperation asking employees to book all-inclusive vacations within the companys circle of providers, corporate travel management receives special rates on destination events, guided tours, sometimes hotel bookings and car rental rates.

All-inclusive family vacations are good deals for families

In a downed economy, an all-inclusive vacation at a discounted rate is a bargain for families of employees whose companies offer such deals. Families usually end up saving money on the destination events they were planning to attend. All-inclusive family vacations also offer families opportunities to do more for a fraction of the cost. On the contraire, if a family decides to book any destination events outside their companys circle of approved travel providers, they might wind up paying more.

While some companies do have certain guidelines, which employees must stick to in order to receive discounts for destination events (such as submitting forms with copies of all receipts for hotel bills, etc.), it may be worth it if families receive 25, 40, or even 50 percent off.

Plan to get the best deals!

Many companies have great vacation packages, because they are larger and receive more of a discount from an umbrella company for using its providers. However, this does not mean smaller companies cannot also receive discounts. Employees should check months in advance of booking any vacation to see which family discounts are available.

Read employee policies carefully, so you can get the best discounts possible and be aware of any special steps you must take to receive discounts. Sometimes, this may mean using special employee promo codes on hotel websites. Other times, this may mean speaking directly to a companys corporate management team, who is in charge of travel planning and ensuring employees follow company guidelines, to get the best vacation rates.
