How to Fry Liver Indian Style
- 1). Place the liver on a cutting board, using a sharp knife to cut the meat into small bite-sized pieces.
- 2). Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium-high heat then add the chopped onion and saute. Stir in the chopped ginger, garlic and green chilies.
- 3). Add the coriander, pepper and turmeric powder. Mix well and cook for one minute.
- 4). Place the chopped liver pieces into the frying pan and flavor lightly with salt. Turn the heat to low and cover the pan, cooking until the spice mixture dries completely.
- 5). Mix in the coriander leaves and the juice of one lemon to finish. Serve hot with a rice or lentil based side dish such as sambar or biryani.
