Short Poem - Why I Am Here!
I wrote it during a time when I was feeling like all what people around me cared for was how I looked, and the amount of success I was having, while completely ignoring that there's a Soul living in my body, forgetting that I'm a person with feelings and needs.
When we find someone who is successful and doing well, we so often forget the obstacles they went through to reach this far.
We don't acknowledge the effort they made, the rejection they've gone through and the heartaches they experienced to reach where they are today.
If we look at the most successful people of our time, we so often find that they came from very challenging backgrounds.
Many were raised poor or abused, and many were able to overcome their adversities and come out on the other side of the tunnel with a new perspective on life, a more positive and loving view of the world, which allowed them to give birth to their new life.
This poem is a celebration of these challenges, because without them, we might not find our role in society.
Without them, we might not come to realize our life purpose here on Earth, and without them we would not be able to grow and heal, and become all that we are capable of being.
We learn to reach our highest potentials because we decided to learn from our mistakes and see the lessons behind each experience we have.
These experiences are meant to help us release our fears and open our hearts up to accepting more love and be compassionate towards others who are going through the same experiences that we've been through! All life challenges are about love! Short Poem - Why I'm Here I heard them say, He must be special His words are those, of a guardian Angel But they don't know, who I really am Where I've been, and the lack of glam They don't know what I've been through All the doors I knocked, to get to you The mistakes I made, to come this far And now they say, He must be a star They judge me based on my appearance Ignoring the Love I keep at my essence No one sees the real me They see an image of what I should be It all comes down to their perspective That one impression that kept them captive But that's not why I'm really here I'm here to help you release your Fears This Poem is written By Adrian Nour Jamal Call To Action
