Signs of True Friendship
If you are like me, friends are extremely important to you.
Our lives are richer for them.
I think of friends as angels who encourage and support us in our endeavors and we support them in theirs.
We help each other as best we can but don't lay our friendship on the line if they cannot.
It's a two-way street.
Occasionally people come into our lives unexpectedly but at the perfect time.
They may come with the gift of wisdom, or help.
There is always a reason (a cause) when someone comes into our life.
We do not try to manipulate friends to get them to do what we want, but give each other space for our busy lives and allow others to be who they are.
Life is eternal and there is no time element to friendship.
Every person on this planet is a thought in the Mind of the Creator.
Therefore everyone is an expression of the Divine One.
As the old saying goes, "Honesty is always the best policy.
" In any relationship and in any and every way we live our lives, everyone needs the freedom to express themselves fully.
We express who we are and learn to grow and expand.
That's why we are here.
Friends support each other in their endeavors and allow others the space they need.
Some people require more alone time than others do.
We are not judgmental but accept our friends' foibles without criticism or blame.
We teach each other the wisdom we know and share our insights when we can.
Sometimes we have friends for a lifetime and no matter how often or little we see them, we know they are always there for us.
Occasionally we meet someone who comes into our lives and is there for various lengths of time.
Then we or they move on.
They will always have been of great value but sometimes we have grown or they have grown and so we must follow separate paths.
The Universe is constantly creating and recreating.
Life is change.
Nothing ever stays the same.
The Universe is always changing.
The one thing that is constant is change.
Whoever comes into our life is a gift and a blessing and we can be grateful for the time we've spent with them.
