Bodybuilding programs should be made for you and your body type to get the maximum benefit.
You must know that your body is not made from a cookie-cutter mold, it is different than others.
Your metabolism rate is different and so is your body structure.
Just because your friends program is working great for him, doesn't mean that it will work for you.
The biggest mistake that people make when they first come the bodybuilding world is that they stick with the program that obviously is not working.
If you see it is not working, why stick with it? Why do people keep doing it? Do people really like wasting their time? That is the question I would like an answer to.
You should try to give your workout program about six weeks.
This should give you ample time to know if it's working for you or not.
Do not jump from program to program without giving any time for your body to respond.
You should probably switch up your bodybuilding program every three months, and take about a one-week break between programs.
Below are some tips that will help you maximize your muscle gain and make everything just that much better.
If you're not giving 100%, you need to start right now.
Half reps won't do anything for you, you need to do a full rep even if it is tiring.
Over training should be avoided at all costs.
Always remember that muscles are built outside the gym so make sure to get proper rest.
Try not to work out any more than two days in a row, and take a day break in between them.
This way your body gets the much needed rest it needs.
You also need to realize that when you're doing these exercises you're injuring your muscles on purpose.
Really what this means is, you're injuring your muscles in order for it to grow.
When you destroy your muscles through exercising, your body is adjusting to your activities which makes it grow bigger and stronger muscle tissues.
This is what really happens after a workout.
If you're overweight or obese then you need to start doing cardio, in fact even if you're not you should still do cardio.
The only way to lose fat is through diet and cardio.
Weightlifting burns through glucose levels which is really sugar.
The correct way to do exercises is the most important thing when building muscle.
Doing exercises too fast is of no benefit at all.
Just letting the weight drop is a huge no-no, you need to go slow on each repetition and concentrate on your muscles.
For example, if you're doing bicep curls do not swing the weights up and down.
Lowering all the way down at a slow pace is the most effective way to build your biceps.
With slow, controlled motions, you concentrate on your muscles more which is more effective in muscle growth.
Just remember great form and not trying to be macho men in the gym.
This the best way to go about building muscle.
Take adequate rest and make sure you're eating enough food for maximum muscle growth.
