How to Reduce Your Risk For Heart Disease the Natural Way
Everywhere I go I have come in contact with someone who has had a heart attack or has been told they are at risk.
It seems to be as common as meeting a person with brown hair.
Many people are misinformed on how to handle the heart disease epidemic.
Heart disease is the number one killer in the US and many other countries.
So what are we supposed to do? We need to address heart disease the best way we know how.
You want to use the following 5 tips to get started on a heart healthy system: 1.
Stop Smoking.
This is the most valuable thing.
Believe it or not smoking has been shown to be the biggest risk factor of heart disease.
It is the biggest risk factor due to all the chemicals put into those cigarettes.
2.
Walk, walk, walk.
If finding the time to exercise is just too much for you, just start out by walking.
Walking is something so small but it can reverse sever conditions and strengthen your heart.
If possible find a scenic route for walking.
There is nothing more calming than the great outdoors.
Singing is perfect when your walking it makes the time fly by.
3.
Calm down.
Do not stress about things you do not need to be stress over.
I use to stress about everything laundry, deadlines, family, work, I stressed about it all.
When I realized stressing would kill me no matter how well I ate I reduced the stress and gained laughter.
I have so much to do today.
Probably more things than are humanly possible, but I'm not stressing.
Just taking it one step at a time.
4.
Don't go on a low-fat diet.
Your heart could possibly get worse if you do this.
Start eating the healthy fats like olive oil, coconut oil, walnuts, organic eggs and salmon.
Stay away from the bad fats like crude oil in donuts and French fries and hydrogenated oil.
5.
Don't be afraid to eat saturated fat.
Saturated fat is not causing people to get sick it is sugars, processed foods, and an abundance or refined carbohydrates that are making the country sick.
