  • 1). Spread two layers of newspaper over a sturdy work surface. Place the glass candlestick on top. Generously apply epoxy to the top of the candlestick. Center the 12-inch plate on top of the candlestick. Press down firmly to set glue. Place the book on top of the plate. Allow to dry for several more minutes, then remove the book.

  • 2). Turn the second candlestick upside down. Center it on top of the 12-inch plate. Apply epoxy to affix the narrow top end of the candlestick to the top of the plate. Press down and hold several minutes until the glue is set. Allow to dry thoroughly.

  • 3). Apply glue to the broad bottom of the second candlestick. Center and place the 8-inch plate on top of the candlestick's bottom. Press down and hold several minutes until the glue is set. Carefully place the heavy book on top of the 8-inch plate. Allow to dry thoroughly.

  • 4). Apply adhesive to the rim of the shot glass. Turn the shot glass upside down. Center it on the top of the 8-inch plate. Gently press down and hold several minutes until the glue is set. Apply epoxy generously to the bottom of the shot glass. Center and place the 6-inch plate on top. Press down for several minutes before placing the book on top. Allow the top tier to dry thoroughly before use.
