Instruction on Handwraps For Boxing
- 1). Place your thumb through the loop of the handwrap and turn your hand so your palm faces the floor with your fingers spread.
- 2). Loop the wrap in a circle around the wrist joint three times.
- 3). Wrap the handwrap around the thumb so the lower half of the thumb is covered before bringing it back around the wrist and then back around the outside of the thumb again.
- 4). Make another three wraps around the wrist and around the thumb.
- 5). Wrap the fabric around the wrist up to the outside of the pinkie finger. Spread it across the front of the fingers at the front of the middle joint.
- 6). Circle the handwrap around the fingers and knuckles three times before bringing the wrap back down to the wrist.
- 7). Bring the wrap back up and slide it between the middle and ring finger before looping it around the thumb and then back over the knuckles.
- 8). Wrap the remaining slack around the knuckles and then secure the wrap by attaching the hook-and-loop strap at the end of the wrap to the outside of the wrapping at the wrist.
