Accountants With Enron, Rating Agencies and Insurance Companies With Lehman - A Thought
Over the past few decades I've been watching the watchers, those dedicated, politically astute, and often registered or licensed folks running around in business suits.
It seems whenever there is an economic problem we can trace it back to this group.
Remember the Enron Fiasco, where they moved losses into shell companies to hide trading losses and prop up their business? Well, it was the accountant auditors that allowed them to do this.
With the last global economic crisis we had rating agencies stamping a "Triple A" grade to CDOs, which were at best junk.
Then we had insurance companies insuring the debt on these CDOs allowing the whole game to continue.
Then in the last decade we watched our health care costs skyrocket into the biggest nightmare known to the American People, much of this due to lawsuits from lawyers and malpractice insurance.
Of course, we didn't fix that problem, as malpractice was not touched in the ObamaCare Law, and in reality why should it be, President Obama is a lawyer himself.
You see, instead of righting-the-wrongs of the lawyers in this regard, we elected one as President, which is amazing when you think about.
We elected a lawyer to fix the problem caused by lawyers and lawsuits.
It's time to stop trusting the professionals.
Just because someone takes authority, does not mean they deserve it.
Just because someone wears a suit doesn't mean they can lead.
Just because someone is a professional, doesn't mean you can trust them.
In fact, let me go out on a limb here, all these professional parasites that have been causing all the problems, all these professionals in suits, well maybe, just maybe, and I say this only in observation, and without malice, maybe they are the problem.
