HBO India: One for Everyone
HBO India is up with #One4Everyone this January. And under this, they are up with quite a different movies that fall under different genre.
Come new year and every channel brings up something new for you. And in the name of newness, all they bring are boring and monotonous movies... or maybe they are fun for some. But there is also a channel that considers each and everybody... and that's HBO India. In fact, they have started this campaign this month called #One4Everyone. Under this campaign, they bring movies for every taste. In the past one week, their major highlighted movies were €Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows', €The Dark Knight Rises', €Madasgascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted', €Easy A', €The Social Network', €Aeon Flux', et al. Now if you look at the genres in which these movies fall, you'll notice every movie comes under different genre.
For example €Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows' is a mystery movie while €The Dark Knight Rises' is an action/ thriller movie. Then again if you look at €Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted', it's an animated comedy flick. Not to forget €The Social Network' that is a biography about Mark Zuckerberg. Also €Aeon Flux' that comes under sci-fi genre and €Easy A' that's a rom-com. Quite a varied list, isn't it? Well, that's what I was talking about. They have covered it all... be it action, sci-fi, adventure, rom-com, mystery or biography. It's literally everything.
And they have particularly focussed on this special trait this month. They have come up with #One4Everyone. I think that's quite amazing... because as they say €To each his own', I think people have different taste for movies too... and it totally works for each and everybody. And this is the point that they have leveraged quite well. In fact, in this respect, you can call them one step ahead of other channels. They are serving the same old classic movies to everybody. Like everybody has a choice of his/her own.
In fact if you go on its Facebook page, you can totally figure it out. And as HBO India is coming up with more such movies, I think you'd better stay tuned to them. Or if they haven't managed to bring something for you, may be the next movie they show is gonna be your favourite. Cool, right? I'd say WAY TOO COOL!
So, if you are an ardent HBO fan, you should definitely not miss out on all these awesome movies that the channel is now coming up with. And I'm sure there will a few movies that you were dying to watch for a while. Particularly for me, €Easy A' totally clicked for me. I'd forgotten about this movie but when I saw this flick, I was like €Whoa'. Awesome, really! Thumbs up, HBO India!
