How to Volunteer for the NASCAR Daytona 500
- 1). Contact International Speedway Corporation regarding employment opportunities. ISC Motorsports owns 12 tracks on the NASCAR circuit, including Daytona International Speedway. ISC may be able to put you in contact with various groups who will be working during race week.
- 2). Contact local vendors who set up souvenir displays at the track on race day. Many of these vendors don't have the money to pay people to work at the track and are always looking for volunteers.
- 3). Check with the track to see if they will be offering shuttle service from parking sites to the grandstands. At many tracks, Nationwide Insurance offers courtesy shuttle service via golf cart. Those who drive the fans to and from the track do so on a voluntary basis and ask for donations to benefit NASCAR charities.
- 4). Become a member of the NASCAR Foundation Volunteer Network. By signing up to become a member of the network you will get early notifications of volunteer opportunities at each race, including the Daytona 500, as well as other related events as soon as they are posted.
