How to See Duluth, MN Fall Colors
- 1). Schedule a tour with Isle Royale Boats. This day tour provides a scenic tour of the Lake Superior area and takes you to the Isle Royale National Park. The park has many different colors of leaves to see and hiking is recommended.
- 2). Explore the countryside by taking the Skyline Drive scenic drive. This takes you 600 feet up so you have a clear view of Twin Ports, the harbor and Lake Superior. This drive is 30 miles long. You will see canyons and streams with fall colors all around.
- 3). Hike the Waterfront Trail to see the fall colors around the St. Louis River. The hiking path is 3 1/2 miles long. Not only do you see the fall colors, but you see animal life as well.
- 4). Hike along Lake Superior on the Superior Hiking Trail. The hike is rugged and takes you along the shoreline of the lake. The fall colors are beautiful.There is also a campground to stay at overnight.
- 5). Tour the Rose Garden in Leif Erikson Park. The roses are beautiful to see as fall nears. The other vegetation in the area is also colorful.
