Checking on Our Aging Parents
" For instance, many people know that to maintain strong bones and muscles and a low body fat content a healthy diet is needed; however, they are tired of handling it and choose to eat out in restaurants 90% of their meals.
Eating out 90% of the time in restaurants is the quickest to expand the waistline for all of us-no matter what age we are.
Often as we age, we do not eat healthy foods nor do we exercise daily.
As a person ages, it is extremely important to do strength training to more muscle and slow the age related muscle deterioration.

I am an advocate of kids, usually our Baby Boomers, check on their parents and the level of their activity.
Our parents made sure we receive the appropriate exercise when we were kids and always made sure we ate our vegetables because they wanted us to be healthy.
I believe, with all of my heart, that it is now time for the kids to make sure their aging parents are getting their appropriate exercise and healthy eating to remain healthy.
