No matter what the style or theme of your wedding, giving your guests wedding favors which will wow them will always make them special and memorable. Whilst there are many stylish favors available on the market today, it is with a touch of added creativity that makes them stand out from the rest.

Here are a few ideas:

If sugared almonds are not rock n roll enough for you then take a tip from Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley who gave personalized guitar picks as their wedding favors. You can get these in a variety of shapes and can have them printed with your names and wedding date.

For those on a budget, homemade will probably be the cheaper option. Why not pick up some old tea cups and saucers from charity stores and fill them with bags of homemade fudge. They will look expensive but won't break the bank!

Have bespoke cookies made to coordinate with your wedding style or just to add a little whimsy to your tables. If you can't afford to have them made to order then buy supermarket versions and some writing icing. Add your names or initials and wrap in some clear cellophane.

Serve up vodka martinis to your guests garnished with a lollipop instead of an olive! You can have custom lollies made with your initials or wedding monogram on them.

Give your guests a CD containing all your wedding songs. Your choice of songs is the soundtrack to your wedding and your guests will be reminded of the wonderful day they had everytime they play it.

Treat your guests to some indulgent spa beauty products and accessories. Check out wholesalers for bulk quantities or enquire about free samples or mini samples with retailers.

Have a masked ball for your wedding and give each of your guests a mask to wear. Check out websites like Etsy for some beautifully hand crafted masks or make your own. You can personalize them on the back with your names and wedding date and your guests can take them home afterwards.

Miniature bottles of perfume or aftershave are a luxurious alternative to giving the standard mini soaps or bath salts. Look out for designer samples and make enquiries with retailers and manufacturers for some free samples!

Go organic and give organic or fair-trade chocolates. Chances are non of your guests will have tried them before and will be blown away by the difference in quality to the usual wedding favors chocolates!
